BONDING OVER BONDAGE (Social Injustice) – A forum where youth and law enforcement officers are able to come together and provide insight from their perspective in addition to bridging the gap that we so often see.
Y.A.C. Gives Back
Silent Art Auction – Our vision was for every age group, at each camp, to have a separate art craft. All crafts were based around the different themes of the week. The crafts were presented at each respective camp as a showcase for parents and guardians to walk around and “purchase” the artwork (was not to be priced, only accepted donations). The objective of this fundraiser was for 50 percent of the proceeds to go to another charitable organization of our choice. We thank our parents, grandparents, and donors who turned out in person to support YAC. Your generous donations helped make our first fundraiser a success! We were able to raise $263.00 to support Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital “Christmas in July”.
Y.A.C. Packs – YAC’s key focus and purpose was to support the youth in education while giving back to our community. A representative from YAC delivered a case of backpacks filled with school supplies to 10 different locations. All parents who attended their child’s end-of-summer showcase received a raffle ticket per child. YAC was able to provide over 100 Y.A.C. Pack backpacks to the youth in our community.
